With your help, I've been selected as one of the Green Party's eleven candidates for our London Assembly list. Out of 25 candidates, we came an incredible fifth on first preferences too!
I'm so proud to be part of an amazing list of candidates, including our fantastic candidate for Mayor of London Zoë Garbett. I promised in the campaign I would work hard to achieve our best ever result, and I meant it.
My work has already gotten the attention of the Government – with Michael Gove intervening in an inappropriate development which would impose blackout blinds on the residents I represent, and which I've been working with Sian Berry to oppose. This is being imposed against the wishes of local people and elected representatives. Read about it in the Telegraph.
